Our self contained Guest Cottage is designed with flair for the comfort and relaxation of guests. Perfectly isolated with its own entrance, private terrace and separate driveway with automatic gates which allow guests to come and go as they please yet only 1 km away from the village with shops, choice of restaurants, pharmacy and boulangeries and 10 minutes drive from the vibrant Ste. Maxime and sandy beaches of the Gulf of St Tropez.
The bedroom has a very comfortable queen sized four poster bed with crisp white bedlinen and adjoins the marble tiled Italian shower room. There is a discrete kitchenette at one end of the well furnished sitting room which has fully retractable windows and shutters opening on to a private terrace with table and chairs for outside dining and loungers for relaxing with a glass of wine under the parasols.
Set amidst beautiful countryside, the property has grounds of 6.5 acres, much of which is woodland. Pins parasols and cork oaks abound and provide much needed shade during the hot summer months. The air is heady with the scent of mimosa, jasmine, rosemary and lavender, all of which grow wild. Hermann tortoises, hares and rabbits leap around the land in the coolness of early morning whilst Skops owls and Hoopoes can be heard through the evening. Our neighbours, French and English alike, describe it as 'un vrai Paradis'.
The property is hidden amongst woodland and vineyards and is very private with no neighbouring houses visible. It is surrounded by nature trails which makes the area popular with walkers and cyclists enjoying a little gentle exercise. For those who are interested in ancient stones, there are many Dolmens within walking distance of the property, which can be traced from local Ordnance Survey Maps. The swimming pool is set apart from the buildings, nestled in an oasis of its' own and surrounded by chairs and loungers. A covered wooden pavilion with cushioned seating sits at one end of the pool. Wide steps lead you easily into the water which maintains a steady 28 degrees from mid May to September. The pool is not shared with any other guests being our sole letting property. A fairly steep hill climb, just beyond the house, will lead you to a breathtaking view of the Gulf of St. Tropez.
For those wanting more excitement Ste Maxime with its numerous beach clubs is 10 minutes away. A 7minute Ferry across the Gulf will take you to St Tropez with as much shopping and partying as you could wish for before returning to the tranquillity of your cottage.

Summary: We had an amazing 9-night stay! Ideal for couples looking for a relaxed getaway to recharge. Apartment is very comfortable with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Connected to the owners’ residence but private and independent of the main house. Very nice outdoor spaces included personal terrace (great for evening/night food and drink), spacious grounds and a wonderful pool setup separate and private to the living spaces. Property is nicely located out of the way but has everything needed close by - ideal for those renting a car, with the local village ~5 minutes away and main shopping area ~15 minutes away. Best of both worlds! Hosts are amazing - very hospitable and welcoming, with great local knowledge useful for restaurant recommendations, planning trips and good wines! They made our stay all the better for their input. Our most relaxing and enjoyable holiday in years - we will be back!

Summary: Wonderful property in beautiful surroundings and within easy reach of Plan De La Tour and the coast. Wonderful hosts who were very accommodating yet discreet. Summary: Very pretty cottage well furnished for two, kitchenette small but works fine, lovely pool and nice hosts helpful but discreet. Ideal for a quiet getaway and Plan de la tour town well worth a visit.

Summary: The accommodation is in a very quiet location amongst Pine trees yet not far from a village that has everything you would need for your stay. Plenty to see and do all around and hosted by a lovely couple.

Summary: A filled fridge and a very warm welcome, although we were rather late. The highest rate is 5 stars, but that is not enough for a real rate. The pool, the garden, the village, the bbq, everything was more than perfect. And when we asked something, for instance a suggestion for a nice restaurant. We got a lot of suggestions also for a day sightseeing. And everything was more than great. We come back!! There was too less time for to discover more from the hosts and the Cote d' Azur. Warm and kind regards from Diane and Albert. We miss you already!!

Summary: We have had the perfect holiday in La Jassine. Excellent hosts, very nice cottage, large pool for your selves during day time and a lovely quiet surrounding in a forest with Mediterranean vegetation. Just perfect!

Summary: Quiet location down a 1km track little bumpy but fine. 20 minute walk into Plan de la Tour where several restaurants. Nice pool but very little shade. Owners very helpful but not intrusive. Comfortable clean studio with kitchenette and good shower attached to main villa.

Summary: We had a fabulous stay in this beautiful part of France. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and to a high standard throughout. The owners were welcoming and very helpful. The pool was of a high standard, clean and just lovely for a swim and relaxation. The pool area is lovely, in beautiful surroundings. The accommodation is in a peaceful location, ideal to relax and recuperate. We split our time between visiting places of interest and relaxing by the pool with lunch on the terrace. There is plenty to see in the area of La Plan-de-la-Tour, including pretty hill-top villages (e.g. Grimaud and Gassin), and coastal hot-spots, including the beaches of Saint Tropez and Rayol-Canadel-sur-Mer. Sainte Maxime is about a 15 minute drive, from where there is a short (15min) foot passenger ferry to Saint Tropez. Cannes and Nice are easily accessible. The village of La Plan-de-la-Tour is possibly less of a tourist spot, but still pretty with plenty of restaurants, amenities and events. We had a perfect holiday and would certainly like to stay there again! Grace & Anthony
